Stainless Steel Plates

Stainless steel plates are thick, flat sheets primarily used in structural applications where durability and load-bearing capability are essential. They are often used in the fabrication of pressure vessels, tanks, marine equipment, and heavy-duty industrial platforms. Plates are available in hot-rolled or cold-rolled forms, with hot-rolled plates offering better strength and cold-rolled plates having a smoother finish. Unlike fittings and flanges, plates are often cut and custom-shaped into specific designs using plasma cutting, laser cutting, or water jet techniques. They can also be coated or clad for additional resistance to abrasion, chemicals, or extreme temperatures, depending on their end-use.
